Doreen Carwithen

Doreen Carwithen (1922-2003) was a British composer and pianist known for her contributions to classical music in the 20th century. Primarily associated with the genre of contemporary classical music, she was influenced by the English pastoral tradition and often incorporated elements of British folk music into her compositions.
